The IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) is a university level examination organized by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. This university organizes a series of CETs for admission in different courses. This exam is organized for admission in various UG and PG courses in the field of engineering, management, law, computer applications, etc. offered by the Indraprasth University. The admission into undergraduate or post graduate or super speciality medical courses will be based on NEET score. IPU CET Application has been released. IPU CET Application Form
- Candidates can fill and submit the IPU CET 2017 Application Form through the official website of the university.
- There is not any other mode is available to fill the application form except online mode.
- The application fee is Rs.1000/-. Some processing charges and taxes are applicable.
- The IPU application form is released from the 15th February 2017.
In case of any corrections in application form in some particular fields (DOB, spelling mistake in candidate’s name, parents name, category), the candidates must send a physical application form (with applicable processing fee of Rs.500) to the address mentioned below:
Candidates can fill & submit the IP University 2017 forms through online mode. The IP University registration is started from the 15th February 2017. The last date for form submission will be the 4th April 2017 (For B.Tech). If candidates want to apply for more than one programme, then they have to fill a separate application form. There is no other mode to fill the Indraprastha University Application Form 2017.
Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs. 1000/-. Candidates can submit the fee only through mode. The fee is no refundable. Extra processing charges and taxes are applicable. The fee will be paid through credit card/debit card/net banking.
Eligibility Criteria
The IPU CET eligibility for different courses is mentioned below:
- For UG courses, candidates have to pass their 10+2 equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- For PG Courses, candidates have to complete their graduation degree.
- Candidates who have a three year diploma & B.Sc graduation degree, they can apply for B.Tech Lateral entry course.
Detailed Eligibility for IPU CET 2017
The university offers various courses in the area of engineering, law, management, computer application. The eligibility criteria are mentioned here:
Age Criteria:
- For all UG Courses, candidate age limit should be 21 years as on 1st August 2017.
- For all other PG Courses, candidates age should be 35 yearsas on 1st August 2017.

How to Apply for IPU CET 2017

- Fill the application form details.
- Upload scanned Images.
- After filling all the details, click on “submit” button.
- Note down Login ID & Password.
- Select the course.
- Pay your application fee.
- Take the printout of the IPU University application form for future use.
How to fill IPU CET 2017 Application Form
Before applying for the IPU CET Application Form, candidates keep ready with the mentioned documents:

- The scanned image size should be less than 80 KB each.

The step wise step is given below to fill the IP university forms:
Step-1 Visit Official Site & Fill Basic Details
Candidates have to visit to the official site & click on the “Online Application Form for Admission” link. Fill your personal information, mailing address and contact details.
Step-2 Upload Scanned Images
Now, candidates have to upload their scanned images (Photograph, Signature & Left Hand Thumb Impression) in a given format. Click on “here” button & upload images. After images upload, click on “Next” button.
Step-3 Fill Academic Qualifications
Candidates have to fill their qualification details such as examination, passing years, Board/University & Marks Percentage & work experience details. After filling all the information’s, candidates have to click on “Next” Button. Tick the “I Agree” button for declaration & submit the form. Note down your Login ID & Password.
Step-4 Course Application
Go to the Courses Application Tab to apply for courses & Click on “Apply for Courses” button. Fill the course details, select test center & payment details. Tick the “I Agree” check box & click on “submit” button.
Step-5 Fee Payment
After completing all the procedure, candidates have to pay the application fee through online payment mode. Click on the “Make Payment” button after filling all details. Keep the printout of the IP University Application Form for further use. If candidates want to apply for other course, click on “Apply for Courses”.
IPU CET Exam Pattern
- Mode: The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based mode).
- The question paper will be asked in OMR pattern.
- Candidates are required to use only black ball pen to mark answers.
- Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Negative marking will be done for wrong answers and for more than one answer to each question.
- No of Questions: The question paper will comprise in total 150 questions for all programmes (except B.Tech. Biotechnology).
- Total 200 questions will be asked for B.Tech (Biotechnology).
- Marking Scheme: The questions will be objective type and each question will carry four marks for each correct response.
- Duration: The exam duration will be two and a half hours (for B.Tech. Biotechnology, three hours exam duration).
- Language: The question paper language will be English.
IPU CET Syllabus
Syllabus for undergraduate courses will be based on the diploma or 10+2 level. The CET syllabus for different courses will be different and the questions will be asked from the related field of the course.
